Multiple people killed in shooting at Sacramento-area church, including 3 children under 15

Three children are dead and another person was shot after deputies said a man opened fire inside church near Arden Fair mall on Monday night. The three children killed were all under 15 years old, said Sgt.

Rodney Grassmann, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office. Grassmann said another person was shot, but did he did not know the person’s condition during a news conference at 6:30 p.m.

Grassmann said the shooter, identified as a man, then turned the gun on himself. He died, Grassmann

Medics were initially called shortly after 5 p.m. to the area near Wyda and Ethan ways. A large number of patrol vehicle filled the area just south of The Church in Sacramento, although there has been no confirmation the shooting occurred at The Church.

I am so sick of this. And I have not been personally affected, meaning I don't happen to know anyone killed by a gun. Lucky me, I'm sure. Perhaps if I had, I'd be far more enraged than I already am.
