Methinks Putin has slipped over the edge. He is crazy and my guess he is sick in body and mind and scared. Twenty two years of power and this may be his swan song. He is totally isolated, you see it in the pictures and it isn't about COVID. He is afraid his fate will be the same as he has administered to all he has perceived as enemies.

There's more to this than just wanting to fuck Ukraine. The Jan 6 committee may have some serious goods on him .... for instance, maybe he stole a bunch of money from the other oligarchs .... maybe they have direct recordings of transactions between him and Trump trying to take down the US, that would effectively be war, anyway.
