and the corporate media acting like the conservative press that it has always been is not the fault of any person on Biden's team. President Obama was arguably the most skilled pr technician I've seen in my lifetime and they STILL managed to pull a scandal out of a tan suit.
Joe Biden has put NATO back together again. He has forged ahead and done the damn job, but mostly, BIGLY, he got Uncle Sam off his knees and Lady Liberty out of the clutches of Vladmir Putin

(9,039 posts)rather maddening how the so-called liberal media is so hard on him.
Many Americans do not realize they should be VERY grateful we put a decent man in the White House.
Tough time for a SOTU.

(51,025 posts)we known that the media is not liberal? And for how long have we known that the media is as lazy as hell and will focus on whatever it is given that is sensational or that catches attention?
We know this. We have known this for at least my lifetime. And yet we bemoan the fact that we do not get equal time or coverage. And we are repeatedly shocked about the ignorance of the average voter, and their lack of knowledge of what Democrats are doing for them.
Enough! We know the problem. We know how to fix it. We simply don't do it. It's time to stop moaning about the conservative media and start manipulating it!

(1,654 posts)As they are working the refs. So the media bends over backwards to prove they're not liberal. So because the American public observes this and thinks the media really must be liberal, otherwise why would they be trying so hard to prove they're not. That's why - you can't prove a negative.
The media should instead just admit they are corporate owned, in it for profit and influence, and Congress should reinstate the equal time rule.

A professional, competent PR organization.
When Coca-Cola put tap water into plastic bottles, there are organizations out there who convinced us to pay a buck-fifty for it.
There are people who can get Democrats' accomplishments into people's heads and keep them there.

(4,148 posts)we have lots of competent PR people...but they have omni media corporations who decry themselves as liberal so they can skew everything even further to the right

(22,672 posts)My TV's broken, so all I can read is what I'm seeing in Biden's actions and the results of republicans in red states with their hands out for funds from Biden's programs. So, he must be super popular with them and obviously, blue state democrats.
Now he's trying to fix the systemic problems in Ukraine that the GOP enabled from 4 years of extortion of that country and its people.
He's saved the lives of countless millions of Americans, including everyone in my family. He didn't politicize or extort us to get us the vaccinations we needed from a most horrible global virus. He's working tirelessly on all fronts, from what I can tell, to right the wrongs of the past.
All I have is admiration for what he's done and continues to do. I couldn't do better, so who am I to judge. But if the media feels otherwise, perhaps they should offer up proven solutions that are better, like how to deal with a warmonger barbarian who's creating war in Europe.
So, thanks Joe Biden, for saving my life, the lives of my family, and doing your best so that all of us will have a better future.
