Sen Joe Manchin (D - WV) ?

ABC news coverage after the 'State of the Union' speech noted that Sen Manchin sat with the Republicans.
They said his office told them it was to prove you can work with Republicans.

(No link, as this is what I heard on TV)

I did find this:
Manchin sits with Republicans, stands with Democrats

wants to do nothing as the water rises. He figures he will be gone by the time it reaches out mouths. He has chosen Senatorial congeniality over saving this country.
Or he will be able to escape on his yatch.

for Manchin's "bi-partisan successes".......

Did anyone ever have any "bi-partisan success" by sitting with the nazis in the Reichstag ???
I welcome any response from DU historians...

Maybe it is hard to find Democrats who will talk to him these days.
