So, what countries could Vladolph Putler invade next?

You know the ones near by who aren’t full NATO partners. Where NATO can say sorry this is your war. We will provide weapons, sanctions and intelligence. No no fly zones and no troops.

As far as I understand, these countries could be at risk. Is this wrong?

Finland
Sweden
Moldova
Switzerland

Although they may have treaties with other countries where they would be required to provide military defense aid (ie european union).

ETA Then I guess if eu engages and putrid strikes on a eu/nato member, nato gets involved.

Would a potential strategy of putrid be to never strike a nato country? Therefore attempting to make NATO seem a paper tiger.

This is why you keep hearing Sec Blinken using full blown war in Europe v ww3.

But I don’t think he will care anymore NATO or not….

We've learned that over and over in US wars. Putin, if this continues, will have his military pretty well used up trying to occupy Ukraine. I don't see him trying to open up another front anytime soon.

If the world hangs together and Ukraine keeps fighting, Russia's costs can only go up, hopefully to unbearable levels.

Hasn’t it applied for EU membership, or NATO membership? Frankly, I see the whole eastern front at risk. Putin is beyond mad and can justify any incursion anywhere. He is spoiling for a fight with NATO.

I know we’re under constraints here. But this feels like we’re just sitting by and watching a country die.

But his ultimate goal is the US. We need to understand that, and we need to also understand that because of Trump, Putin is closer to that goal than ever before. I’m not saying we need to panic. I’m just stating the reality.

Except maybe Moldova.

Russia doesn't want to fuck with Finland again, Sweden is almost as bad and can only be reached amphibiously. Switzerland is surrounded by a whole lot of NATO airspace for paratroopers to pass through. Norway is a NATO member.

The central Asian countries that used to be Soviet republics would be most at risk. It is likely however Russia will spend 2-3 years fixing flaws found in their current military structure.
