Regime change in MOSCOW - Nothing Less!

Our so-called 'intelligence community' has spent easily a billion dollars perfecting this capability (admittedly, mostly on Democracies). How many opportunities to stop Hitler did we let slip through our fingers?

Long thread, initially a bit bleak re Russia China alliances but ends positively.

Break Putin AND his whole apparatus by:

* increase hyperinflation in Russia
* make it easy for brains to leave Russia now that it is full fascist (not hyperbole)

I'm sure there is more, but I read so much for so long it is hard to take it all in but it is well organized, tells it like a story, and seems very well researched. He's an academic, I think from central Asia republic (Turkmenistan?) analysing in the west.

TL;DR Russia is now fascist. No return to status quo is possible. Regime must be broken. Fortunately it can be broken quickly via sanctions and brain drain. But if the regime isn't broken it can evolve to sth much stronger

This is 21st century war against 20th century despot.

Russia seems to be preparing for conscription, despite claiming otherwise. (Claiming otherwise, I seem to have heard that connected to Russia a bit lately).

But it doesn't have infrastructure to move a large army to Ukraine anyway, or fight with it. Especially if Putin is humiliated continually on battlefield.

However, it would torpedo Putin's internal charade.

Quick economic collapse will cause Putin's retirement, along with a large swathe of his apparatus.
