Republican talking points on the Keystone Pipeline are pure BS

With gas prices soaring, plenty of Republicans have been blaming Biden for cancelling the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Just one problem with that.

It's pure BS.

It only goes to one refinery and it's owned by the koch brothers, they wanted the pipeline to save money
on shipping costs vs tanker.

It's just no longer quite so poised like some kind of sword of Damocles above the Ogalalla Aquifer. Also, Big Oil is sitting on more than 9,000 permits they haven't used, while sending Steve Doocy in to ask Jen Psaki why the Biden administration isn't opening more wilderness land to oil companies.

Gas prices are high because the oil companies are pinching supply while the U.S. is pumping oil at record levels. We wait a few weeks or a couple of months, cut back on consumption, and the oil companies will be back sitting on a glut like they were when the world shut down due to Covid.

Patience folks.

Once you decide to sell out, might as well raise the price.
