1. And even if it was the oil/whatever goes to the Gulf Coast to be put on boats to someplace else.

There are no refineries to make the oil useable along the pipeline. This is a GOP hobby horse for sure.

There are refineries in Texas and Louisiana that can process that type of heavy oil. That's why the Keystone pipeline goes there. Keystone XL would have augmented that capacity.

In any case, TC Energy (the pipeline operator) has announced Keystone XL will not be revived and who can blame them?

About 700k barrels a day are transported via the pipe line to refineries in southern IL and TX and Louisiana.

What they are talking is the proposed phase 4, Keystone XL.

They don't have to get the facts right because they are not seeking to educate. They are seeking to emotionally activate.

All the audience on FOX hears is, "Keystone Pipeline", "American Oil", and Biden bad.

They absolutely don't know that the pipeline has been in operation since 2016, that XL is a section that will attach to the existing pipeline, OR that it will be carrying CANADIAN oil to Texas refineries for sale on the open market.

He had no idea that the pipeline had already been built and has been transporting oil from Canada to refineries in the US since 2016.

New Data: Biden’s First Year Drilling Permitting Stomps Trump’s By 34%

Thousands of Permits OK’d Despite President’s Authority to End Drilling by 2035

WASHINGTON— New federal data shows the Biden administration approved 3,557 permits for oil and gas drilling on public lands in its first year, far outpacing the Trump administration’s first-year total of 2,658.

Nearly 2,000 of the drilling permits were approved on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management’s New Mexico office, followed by 843 in Wyoming, 285 in Montana and North Dakota, and 191 in Utah. In California, the Biden administration approved 187 permits — more than twice the 71 drilling permits Trump approved in that state in his first year.

And the oil companies are sitting on more than 9,000 permits that they haven't used yet. Domestic oil production is at an all-time high. And gas prices started going up long before Russia invaded Ukraine. We're not being gouged and gaslighted by the oil companies are we? Have they ever lied to the American people before?

and needs crude oil from the northwest (Dakota crude) so it will flow through the pipeline to be refined into low grade oil or diesel not gasoline that is exported to South America. All we get is the toxic waste. A spill will be impossible to clean up. Very bad plan all round for US.
