By Aaron Blake/Washington Post
Its a pretty remarkable state of affairs when a judge is approvingly citing Tucker Carlsons journalistic rigor, but thats precisely the situation we find ourselves in now.
And rather ironically, that could be bad news for Fox News.
New York Supreme Court Judge David B. Cohen has now ruled that voting-machine company Smartmatics $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News and Rudolph W. Giuliani can proceed. The case involved numerous false and baseless claims made on Fox about voter fraud involving the companys voting machines.
In the ruling, the judge notably dropped Fox host Jeanine Pirro and former Trump lawyer Sidney Powell from the lawsuit Pirro because her statements didnt so directly accuse Smartmatic of illegality, and Powell because New York doesnt have jurisdiction over her.

(5,058 posts)1. Agreed. There needs to be consequences for their lying and banding the truth.
It's profitable for them to lie now. So make it not profitable and they will stop the lying, at least less of it.

OReilly and now Tucker.
I suspect the no one should take him seriously and/or entertainment defense.
They dropped Judge Pirro, reading into it, because she never got around to actually making a point.

ISNT a reason, because other judges have concluded that hes not to be taken seriously by reasonable people.
You watch, its coming.

Calling what that %#$*&^%$#@ does "journalistic rigor" is an insult to the profession.
He is nothing but a fucking lying asshole piece of pond scum.
