(3,772 posts)makes me want to throw up.....and the guy before him, Meadows, was no picnic either. Asheville, where I live is very progressive and Democratic but all the small counties surrounding us are solid Republican. The people in those counties will NEVER vote for a Democrat and so we get the very bottom of the barrel!

(1,850 posts)I refuse to call him my representative, he doesn't represent me. It makes me sick too.
And I live south of Asheville, where 40% will vote against him. Maybe with the redistricting we can elect a Democrat. I feel and share your frustration.

(16,541 posts)So he didnt just "forget" to renew it! He did something serious enough to cause his license to be revoked. I wonder what that was? Would blowing off those two speeding tickets be sufficient, or was there more?
This article needs more details!

(10,885 posts)"second time in the past five years" indicates the revocation was some time ago. What would cause him to lose his license for such a long period of time?
He really is an entitled a**hole, isn't he?

(6,009 posts)... I'd guess his licence was revoked for multiple instances of excessive speeding, and that he's in for another 6 month suspension due to these two new citations. (actually, make that a year long suspension, for driving with a suspended license)
https://www.ncdot.gov/dmv/license-id/license-suspension/Pages/speeding.aspx
He should definitely do the 20 days in jail, since just revoking his license doesn't seem to be working to stop the behavior, at least if we had judges worth their salt.

One Blacks Law Dictionary
One framed copy of 18 USC 31
A printout of dicta from a bunch of court cases he claims say you need no drivers license
A stack of blank UCC-1 forms and 1099-MISC forms
Three webcams all set to live streaming
I feel sorry for everyone in NC who didnt vote for Madison el Bey the Moorish Sovereign Citizen. Everyone who did vote for him deserves never ending scorn.

(21,910 posts)Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) tried to bring his Glock onto an airplane in February an event that his campaign chalks up to an accident.
"The incident was first revealed in audio obtained by FireMadison.com, a group trying to drive the far-right Cawthorn from the halls of Congress," reported Justin Rohrlich. "But according to the 25-year-old legislator's spokesman, the entire dustup was just a simple mistake. 'Five months ago, while boarding a flight, Rep. Cawthorn erroneously stowed a firearm in his carry-on (that often doubles as a range bag) instead of his checked bag,' Cawthorn spokesman Micah Bock said in a statement.

(4,552 posts)"He was my brother, my best friend. And he leaves me in a car to die in a fiery tomb," Cawthorn said of the accident. "He runs to safety deep in the woods and just leaves me in a burning car as the flames start to lick my legs and curl up and burn my left side." Cawthorn also claimed he was pronounced dead at the scene, but thanks to "adrenaline or divine intervention, I definitely believe it's the latter, I had a deep inhale of breath." Cawthorn quote
Problem is the whole statement is a lie. His "friend" did pull him out. What kind of maggot lies about that?
