The best way to end a senior's years in social studies?
In lieu of a final exam, they get a major capstone project.
Each of my seniors are happy as hell now. They can pace their work and have until May 15th.
I have one more unit with them, but it's a unit on the SCOTUS and constitutional law (my area of expertise in civics and government).
So they are now all happy that "social studies is more relaxed" while everyone one is still doing the normal things while the senoritis has set in hard.
