David Koch died, there is only Charles (of the two brothers who controlled the company) left. Charles is the most evil, I believe he is the one that used to scam truckers transporting their oil for a few miserable bucks...Here is the link to the story:

[link:https://www.cbsnews.com/news/blood-and-oil/|

--snip
Bill Koch says that his brother Charles made a fortune stealing oil. Much of it from beneath Indian reservations and federal lands - places like national forests. Oil under federal lands belongs to the public. Koch Industries was the middleman – buying oil from the government at the well - then selling it to refineries. Bill Koch says that the company took more oil than it paid for by cheating on measurements.

The brother David Koch died a few years ago. Once Charlie kicks the bucket, I think the next generation of Koch billionaires won't be so evil. At least it seems that way, according to Wikipedia.

that could start a boycott Koch movement outside their main office. I'm sure that since ABC, CBS, & NBC
all have TV studios there they would come out to get it on tape to air locally, maybe even nationally.
The Kochsucker Brothers will not like the negative attention.

Hell I'd even drive the 200 miles to join in. Hell even hearing about a possible protest rally on some Wichita
fakebook sites might get them to reconsider their position.

Thu Mar 17, 2022, 03:26 PM
Mar 2022

It should not surprise people when owners of an "international" company has different priorities than their fellow citizens or their government. Companies such as Koch and most petroleum companies are outlanders wherever they nest.

One of the biggest advantages of trade agreements and "economic communities" is that they define the economic interests of the parties so as to, by design, align with a degree of sympathy for the political priorities of the nations involved. This makes me wonder. Just how invested was British Petroleum in the whole Brexit fiasco? And for that matter, how did I not see clearly before how it is the oil interests of Russia who see a necessary economic windfall in a socio-economically polarized America.

Americans, staring out across imaginary chasms and pointing fingers at each other is the ideal breeding ground and marketplace for all the BAD ideas near and dear to the hearts of fossil fuel magnates. It even encompasses the whole "Joe Manchin: power broker" phenomenon. It's why there is so much popular enmity against the science and science in general. Because science is where the "inconvenient", anti-fossil fuel, facts are supported. The big goal, scoring impotency of intellect onto America pulls most of the world into the imaginary Bizarro Universe where people feel like they're losing and can't find anybody to blame except the "other". THIS is the front of the real war. The one where fossil fuel industries fight against humanity's collective certainty that climate change can and must be turned around. The war in the Ukraine is not about anything except achieving unquestionable access to ROW for pipelines into European electrical generation stations and that requires a congenial Ukrainian government. If it weren't in the pipeline pathway, the Ukraine would be safe to herd its flying democracy unicorns from one end of the rainbow to the other indefinitely.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Make them known. That's a start. And let people know who they can go to as an alternative. For instance, many of the Koch Industry brands that I might buy can easily be replaced with other brands. I am not that attached to any of their products. I am sure you will find the same for ADM.

The company operates more than 270 plants and 420 crop procurement facilities worldwide, where cereal grains and oilseeds are processed into products used in food, beverage, nutraceutical, industrial, and animal feed markets worldwide.

ADM ranked No. 54 in the 2020 Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations.[1]

i also work for a Fortune 100 company that is only partially pulling out, to my dismay, and I wish I could say something but I would risk my job. I expect that it will be addressed soon since this company has a high public profile and cares about it very much.

At least we are helping our Ukrainian employees get to safety and supporting them, but i do think we should be doing more to punish Russia.
