The Armenians have access to world news. They know what’s been going on.

Don’t think there is any love there for Russia. In fact - anywhere!

They are not locked up on the base, are they? Wouldn't they be able to read about what's really happening?

Fighting in downtown Mariupol from a Russian advance.

It's not in the English side of Ukrinform yet, but the Army's saying they don't have the forces necessary to unblock the city. If they can't do that, it's obvious that they don't have the ability to stop the advance and they'll just have to hope that there are enough munitions and fighters in Mariupol to hold them off.

That means the fighters and civilians there are surrounded and will likely suffer greatly. Russians do not treat those they surround and capture, having shown resistance, with dignity or respect for life.

Anti-tank weapons only do so much. You need you own tanks and armored vehicles to actually stage good offenses.
