Russia: What were employees told of their layoffs?

There are over 400 businesses that have closed or suspended their operations in Russia.
What are the employees being told, I wonder.

I am thinking it is an opportunity to tell them the truth.

The sanctions will take a while to work through but some of it is already showing up on Russian grocery shelves.
