Mo Brooks BOOM! "President Trump asked me to rescind the 2020 elections, immediately remove Joe Bide

President Trump asked me to rescind the 2020 elections, immediately remove Joe Biden from the White House, immediately put President Trump back in the White House, and hold a new special election for the presidency. As a lawyer, I’ve repeatedly advised President Trump that January 6 was the final election contest verdict and neither the U.S. Constitution nor the U.S. Code permit what President Trump asks. Period.

It’s not short for Grand Old Party. GOP = Greed Over People.

By the way, the Democratic Party had original claim to the nickname GOP until the Republicans appropriated it. I don’t know the details of when that took place, but that bit of trivia came from the resident US historian, Zenger*, at Electoral-Vote.com, in one of his articles there a few weeks ago.

*Zenger, or Z, is his pen name on the site. He’s a PhD and teaches US history at USC.

But, now he's decided to come clean?

Nah...hard pass for me. I can't bring myself to even feel a little bad for him. Fuck that guy. He paid his money, and took his chances. trump's going to shit on him like he does all of his 'friends' eventually.

Yes, this should be a BOOM.

But the way things have been looking, it’ll be more of a Pfffttt

I’ve been here for 20 years and there has been so much stuff that should be a “boom, this is it.”

But it almost never is.

LIHOP/MIHOP - look it up if you weren’t around after 9/11

Colin Powell lying about uranium

Torture at abu GhrAlain

The whole Iraq debacle under bush.

And on and on.

It’s never “this is it.”

So, this is good news but I’ll reserve my excitement.

It's because asking someone to perform a governmental procedure they are not constitutionally allowed to do is not a crime.

If I request that my Congressman declare me Emperor for life, I haven't committed a crime, I'm just a moron. Even if they follow through and put it to a vote that passes, it's still not a crime, it's simply a bad law for the courts to strike down.

Hearing aids (the real good ones) and seeing eye dogs ain't cheap!

Either that or Biden needs to reaffirm the DOJ IS doing things required by LAW...and BEFORE the mid terms.

I know the "Wheels of Justice" turn slowly but I'm beginning to wonder if they need training wheels and that may mean we need a power attachment.

jump off the conspiracy bus now. Shameless, feckless, corrupt, racists, spineless, and most of all “UnAmerican”
is the only way to describe the Republican Party. We are living a dystopian nightmare where a once noble and grand democracy is descending rapidly into a kleptocracy brought about by 30 years of right wing propaganda, Christian Fundamentalism, aided and abetted by Russia. Hillary was prescient when she describes a right-wing conspiracy over 30 years ago. And here we are left with a SCOTUS that if not changed will rollback fundamental rights even more for the next 40 years or more. My hope with Hillary was in her SCOTUS picks that would leave our country in good hands for the rest of my life and most of my kids. Now where is the “hope” to come from, who will save our country. Who is the next Teddy or Franklin Roosevelt to take up the fight for soul of our country. I thought Obama was gonna be that guy and while I love him, I can now see he was far too moderate and decent to do what needs to be done. That is stomping out the Republican Party. It’s gonna come down to either our view of the country or the Republicans view and so far they have proved far more effective at deflecting and diverting the attention of Americans who believe that CRT is really a thing and Democrats are baby killing predators. The spectacle of 1/6 and it’s acceptance as ordinary political activism proves that American politics is sick I just hope there is a cure to what is killing our Democracy.
