14. Congressman Brooks decided to run for the seat being vacated by Senator Shelby.

Trump withdrew his support for Brooks because Brooks told him the truth that the 2020 election results can't be overturned. In other words, he refused to feed Trump's delusion.
Brooks is still crazy, but now he's pissed. He knows Trump's endorsement is vital to winning the Alabama primary.
So he decided to "diss" Trump.
