Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins dies at 50, band announces
Musician Taylor Hawkins, drummer of the Foo Fighters, has died at the age of 50, according to a statement from the band.
"The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time," the statement read.

I was a fan when he was playing for Alanis Morissette. Great drummer. This is hard to believe. WTH??? 
seen these guys a few times and they seem like really good guys and Taylor rocked.
