By: Sarah JonesOctober 26th, 2012
On MSNBC this morning, Nevada political reporter Jon Ralston said that President Obama and Democrats are absolutely crushing Mitt Romney and Republicans in early voting in the state. Hes right. (2,091 posts)but I have to ask it. Are the early votes and absentee ballots counted as they come in? I really thought we had to wait until Nov. 6th to count the votes, but reading this post it appears that the counting is done instantly.

(22,665 posts)Whether they come from GMU.EDU, Jon Ralston Reports or in PDF form, some are delayed more than others. But they're usually within a few hours of actual ballot results.
The numbers only show who, by party affiliation, has voted, in total.
