This gets talked about a lot with comedy and people have a lot of blind spots on it in what they consider punching down as well.

You may not think it was punching down, but there are a whole lot of people who do, including a lot of black women going by many of their responses to the joke itself.

And she’s not the only black woman who does.

How in hell is a millionaire telling a joke about another millionaire while comparing her to another millionaire “punching down?”

Oh, and IBTL.

Then saw how his wife was looking at him. THEN he made a decison to sucker punch a comedian at a comic roast.

Hell, Amy Schumer insulted his marriage, and somehow he was able to let that go.

He made this story what it is, and now everyone knows who he is. And how pathetic he is.

I still remember him saying how he’d NEVER kiss a man for a movie part. Well, I doubt he’ll get a lot of offers in the future, so no worries.

any of these people as a role model?
Almost all of them are rich spoiled brats with zero realistic connection to average people and their daily struggles.
I can think of scant few who actually deserve my respect.

So, saying they have no idea about daily struggles doesn't really apply. I understand why you said that but to me it just shows money can't buy happiness whether you're born in it or earned it.

I agree celebrities being role models is dumb unless they're like Dolly Parton who lives the giving back to the world like very few others.

Not that it was a fight he could win.

Still he handled far better than most probably would have.

Bog in the English meaning lol.

But yes, this story is everywhere, and I expect it will stay that way at least until the Academy pulls its collective finger out and makes some decision.

share a beverage of their choice and apologize to each other. Shake hands and be done with this once and for all. Smith is out of the Oscars so that's settled. Let's move on guys.
