Nicolle Wallace tied the knot with Michael S. Schmidt over the weekend, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
The MSNBC anchor and Schmidt married on Saturday in an intimate ceremony surrounded by immediate family, a spokesperson for the network confirmed to Page Six.
The Deadline: White House host returned to work Monday wearing a wedding band on her left hand.
Page Six broke the news in March 2019 that Wallace, 50, and the New York Times writer, 38, began dating. The two met on the set of her show, as he appears as a frequent guest and commentator.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist was around Wallace so frequently at the time that the pair disclosed their relationship to network chiefs, who were fine with it, relatively quickly. The network head honchos were also understanding when Morning Joe co-anchors Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough coupled up.

(90,775 posts)I remember when he couldn't find a good thing to report about a Democratic President to save his life. To the point where I thought he had to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of the GOP.
I still don't trust him.

(58,785 posts)and scrutiny over time makes it clear that he's there to spin against Democrats. It's a big election year and she hosts a daytime show, so she'll be serving up a bunch of what he and others are there to provide.
Who she literally sleeps with is of course her own business. Congrats for their private lives.

(55,816 posts)They must do nothing but read and write and go on air and research and manage research staff and sources.
Spend the rest of their lives reading the Sunday paper online. I'm great for the written word and the details of everything, but that's not a life I'd enjoy.

(8,183 posts)secondly, I wouldn't have guessed chemistry with Schmidt could possibly exist.
I guess the tv thing can mask a deeper side of his personality.
So well trained I guess.
side note: I was a single mother for most of my daughter's childhood years.
It's no walk in the park, that's for sure.

(2,600 posts)Congratulations to the newlyweds, but I could never see them as a couple. Nicole is so bright and bubley, and he has no discernable personality at all. Frankly, I always thought he was kind of creepy. But if it works for them, thats great.
