Oklahoma's orgy of abortion bills - database of abortion seeking women, unique identifier for 7 yrs

Another restrictive measure, Senate Bill 1167, introduced by State Sen. George Burns, would have established a government database of women seeking an abortion and provided women with "pre-abortion" resources. The bill would prohibit referral to an abortion provider and assigned women seeking an abortion a "unique identifying number" that would be kept on file for seven years. The bill was not heard in committee and won't be heard on the Senate floor this session.

they will have to resort to increasingly fascistic and Orwellian tactics to actually make it happen, which is going to blow up in their faces at some point. Some people may be uncomfortable about abortion but Gilead was supposed to be a cautionary tale, not something that most people in the 21st Century actually want to be real.

for those politicians that attack women's choice. It is really that simple. I know the majority doesn't always win in our country (POTUS being a good example) but control of State legislatures has become the bedrock of the crazy wacky GOP. I use my State of Texas as an example - you don' get so many crazy politicians unless people approve of their ideology.

Maybe I'm wrong or naive but I don't think Texas Legislature in any way represents most Texans. I sure as hell hope not.

How can someone prove that a woman has had an abortion? Medical records are private for a reason.

So, if you "think" that someone was pregnant and they aren't anymore, how do you prove your case?

Or do these bills include making women's medical records public information?

Can a pregnant woman drive in the HOV lane?

Can you declare 2 as dependents on state income taxes when pregnant?

Same applies for Federal income taxes?

Can a pregnant woman seek child support as soon as it is determined she is pregnant?

Basically, is she entitled to all the rights and protections of a mother (whatever that might be)?

What support does the State provide to a woman that didn't want to carry the child, and what are the State's obligations?
