after she seems to be coming in 2nd to Macron and will likely be in the runoff with him...she sounds much like a typical RW jerk in this country and is spewing (to me) what sounds like a typical "word salad" of that political affiliation (in any country)...imo

1. While she has been very supportive of Putin in the past

French opinion of him is so negative in France that she has denounced both the invasion and Putin. Hopefully the French voters will remember her past statements and not let her avoid being judged for it.
If she were to win it would be a disaster for the Western coalition against Putin and thus bad for Ukraine. We do not need any breaks in the solid wall of European repudiation of the Butcher of Ukraine.
