"warmonger" "neoliberal" and all the other bullshit. Will never forgive or forget erasing her career and history for some asinine fantasy of revolutionary populist saviors who helped Republicans.

That is poetry, betsuni, though, like my opinion, it doesn't make a difference, nor does it matter.

Hillary will be remembered by history as, possibly, the most competent American politician/celebrity of our times. Her enemies will be universally condemned for decades, maybe even for all times.

Still yammering on about "neoliberals" and accusing Democrats of being "corporate Dems," corrupt both sides bullshit. Hillary wasn't a celebrity, she was a workhorse, not a showhorse. It matters to me that the assholes who lied about Hillary to promote their fake revolution are still around and never apologized.

on the part of that certain segment of the "left" you speak of. I have yet to see them condemn Trump or Trumpism with the same visceral loathing as they condemned Hillary and other Dems.

They showed me the horseshoe effect very clearly in 2016. They overlapped with Trumpers in many disturbing ways, including their willingness to believe in Pizzagate-level conspiracy theories.

It does me no good but I'm also having a hard time forgiving or forgetting. I have an instant reaction to such people just as I do with Trumpers.

attacks against Democrats lacked, they just called us stupid "libtards." The elaborate hate from "the left" was new. The goal was to make left-leaning voters be disgusted and hate Democrats. Disgust is the goal, propaganda.

that I could never quite put my finger on. I just pondered it for a while and may be able to explain. But I preface this by stating that I am NOT COMPARING this segment of the "left" to white supremacists. That's not what I'm doing.

There is, however, a similarity to me in that I've often witnessed that white supremacists LOATHE white people who dare date non-white people; they loathe them more than they loathe POC themselves. (I grew up in a KKK atmosphere so I know of what I speak.)

This Hillary/Dem-hating contingent give off a similar vibe to me. It feels like an authoritarian, "you're either with us or against us" mindset. Very black-or-white, all-or-nothing thinking. Not a lot of gray area allowed with this mindset.

Granted, just as Trumpism projects, so do people with this mindset, saying the Democrats they loathe are the ones who won't compromise or allow other viewpoints.

I find it very disturbing. Any group with a hyper-focused cause can develop extremist thinking in that way.

Hope that makes sense.

Edit to add: And we can't forget the similarity of an almost blind loyalty to their leaders. Again, they project in this way too, accusing others of this behavior.

It not who they are, necessarily. It's the filter through which most see them because our little ears perk up midst the musac all around us when certain names or words sneak into our peripheral.

Those assholes are in their high stakes game, too preoccupied by their personal psychoses and counting their cards to examine the perversity of their values. Apologize? I'm sorry. Does that make it better? One can't hope for better while they have the microphone. It's like directing Hamlet with a cast of gnus, impossible, frustrating and just pisses off the gnus. Though whatever you end up with will play well among the gnu folk.

So much of it lay in the abuse of freedoms of speech and the press. Would that the F-ing Fathers had been just a bit more specific regarding "freedom" when it came to broadcasting intentional lies as fact. Should have been a definite "shalt not". Where's my "way-back" machine?

That is anathema to republicans. They can't STAND smart, confident women who know how intelligent they are and who don't have time for bullshit. They are weak and insecure and they destroyed her presidential run because they can't handle smart women.

And everything she has been saying is RIGHT.
