Rep Val Demings: ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, & BP earned more than $75 billion in profit last year.

@RepValDemings
ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, and BP earned more than $75 billion in profit last year. Those record profits have continued this year. Maybe this has something to do with gas prices. 🤔

And ... Why doesn't Congress do more to remedy this situation?

Garnish the CEO's earnings. Sanction their asses. Whatever it takes. We are tired of being gouged by corporate greed.

And especially since President Biden is being blamed for all the corporate greed and the msm drumbeats that message to the masses. The willfully ignorant.

Oil Executives Summoned by Democrats Over $4-a-Gallon Gasoline

Democrats in Congress are taking aim at big oil as they seek to deflect blame for eye-popping gasoline prices that could sink their prospects in the midterm elections.

Both the Senate and the House are calling executives from the nation’s largest oil and gas companies to testify, saying the industry isn’t passing the benefits of record profits on to consumers at the pump.

Per the article there were supposed to have had a hearing April 5th. I haven't heard anything about it since Sen. Schumer made the initial statement.
