Putin's got to put up or shut up.

Putin's getting his ass klcked in the Ukraine war and has bluffed NATO into a position of not engaging the Russian military within Ukraine borders. But he's unhappy that NATO is supplying Ukraine the weaponry that is kicking his military ass.

So, he says the supply procedures [are unfair] and can be considered legitimate targets.

He's threatening Sweden and Finland with 'serious military and political consequences' if they join NATO.

I will just say Sweden and Finland need to NATO up while Putin is busy getting his ass kicked in Ukraine and he should rethink the bluff (my opinion) of attacking the supply lines feeding the weapons to Ukraine. NATO may not consider it a bluff but they need to call his hand.

Putin is the 21st century's Hitler and he will not stop until someone stops him...an opinion.

If that doesn't shut him up, at least he'll have a lump in his throat and pain in the stomach.

Putin feels entitled to retake it someday. All the more reason, Finland needs NATO.

I think it explains a lot about what countries bordering Russia must feel. You know, it's not like Russia needs more land acquisitions. Perhaps their efforts at developing their resources and communities in a thoughtful manner might be a better vision? That ain't happening as long as Putin is calling the shots.

One could say the Producer(s) / Director(s) were prescient in their thinking about near future Russian geopolitical dynamics. I think it's Norway, could be Finland that this scenario plays out in. But it is a series worth watching and thinking about.

and not necessarily the USSR.

Either way, he definitely wants more than just Ukraine long term, and we need to shut him down there.

Sweden and Finland are actually fairly strong on their own, but maybe not enough to face down Russia individually. Joining NATO makes sense for them. Finland, especially, since they just received a ton of Russian emigres. That definitely makes them a bigger target in Putin's eyes, and gives them additional incentive to seek joint protection from greater Europe.

The Russian Empire, and ruling them with an iron fist.

I honestly don't think he will stop until he is stopped and I also don't think he will go down without taking the rest of us with him.

He would rather see a world-wide nuclear holocaust than to surrender to the west. And he is just sick enough to start such a war.

I don't think there is any way out of this other than to take him and his top henchmen out personally, but that will be very hard to do. There has to be some way to stop this effing madman.

I can only imagine possible scenarios...

“If Russia attacks Western arms shipments ... it takes the conflict to a new level, of NATO vs. Russia,” Timothy Ash, senior emerging markets sovereign strategist at BlueBay Asset Management, said on Saturday, adding that a “critical moment in this conflict [is] coming up.”
