And they hoped for the best. Or were they really that wrong? If they are that incompetent, it could be bad if they become in charge. Of course many of them have been replaced.

As I said before, Russia has been run into the ground under Putin's leadership.

about the Moskva seem to be, no they are, mentally challenged or deficient. Just start with the fact that it is the Russians who started this war and then list the terror and torture and genocide they have or are inflicting upon Ukrainians. The list goes on. The Russians wanted this war. They got it with all the consequences involved.

That said, Malcolm is correct. We should be concerned and cautious, but Russians or any other people should never be allowed to coerce the world to dominate it.

Interviews with supposed Russians on the street indicate widespread belief that Ukraine was a threat to Russia. It's crazy but they believe it, just like the QAnon nuts in the US believe that liberals are a threat to their freedom.

Decades of propaganda, all over the world.

Issue is twofold.

They embarrassed the Russians

The big untold story seems to be the kleptocracy is about to be exposed. Spending billions on war apparatus, but due to multi layer skimming, delivering a bad product.

They go 5 times the speed of sound so there are no anti- missile defense systems that can stop them. Hypersonic missiles can be directed to change directions while in flight.

Recommendations to STOP Putin's entry to begin with! No fly zone. Arm it up. It was very specific and I don't remember it all.

You can make fun of it all you want - if we had followed that advice, thousands and thousands of people would still be alive. I wonder how many in government feel the same way.

Why would an accident aboard a ship be cause for bombing anything?

The Russian Defence Ministry says the Moskva was badly damaged by a fire and sank in a storm as it was being towed to port.

It previously said that “a detonation of ammunition” triggered a fire and forced the crew to evacuate.

The UK and US have told Russia that if thy use chemical or nuclear weapons then we will intervene with nuclear arms and end them. Of course they could end the planet.

But if you have watched Biden when asked about it he has given indication that unconventional arms is the line in the sand.
