Russia has reportedly sent a diplomatic note to the U.S. State Department warning the Biden administration to stop sending military aid to Ukraine or face "unpredictable consequences."

In Russian: Попробуй растолочь песок, Владимир!

That translates to "Try to crush sand, Vladimir." That's as close as you can get to our idiomatic expression, "Pound sand!"

The U.S. and NATO allies heed Putin's warning and proceed to throw Ukraine under the bus. Russia then sends everyone involved a thank-you note for making their war crimes task so much easier.
