Republicans: "We don't actually want to win anything, but we need to make sure you Dems lose!"

Personal note: Australia has two major political parties, pretty much indistinguishable based on their ideology.
But my wife believes strongly OUR side are the good guys, theirs are the bad guys.
Me?: I just think 99% of politicians are self-serving egomaniacs who don't give a stuff about common folk.
