Putin is spending his time whining about what other countries are doing. He should turn his attention to Russia's horrific atrocities and shut his mouth. He can be pretty brave when sheltered in his mansion/compound.

Finland is mostly flat and mostly tundra and tends to get a bit swam0y starting this time of year. Tractors are the most reliable vehicles off road.

Even Stalin invaded them in winter, when frozen ground made his vehicles less likely to get bogged down. The Finns still beat the crap out of him and his army. In fact, I've often wondered whether Russia would have had such horrors in WWII had Stalin not squanered so much in men and equipment in his fool's errand against Finland.

Russia might find itself so weakened after their fool's errand in Ukraine that they could be looking at the Asian part of the country breaking away because they're sick of seeing their mineral and fuel wealth being sent east to fatten a bunch of mobsters in St. Petersburg.

It could happen.

but unless they wanted to station a huge number of soldiers there permanently, they would not prevail. The soldiers themselves would rebel, the climate is atrocious.

Who knew that tractors would be the secret weapons in the defense against Russia's vaunted military?

The Pentagon should develop a weaponized tractor capable stopping the world's armies. What the hell, in peacetime at least they can be used for something constructive. Plant fields of marijuana and poppies. We can get our enemies baked out of their minds. War over!

A Deere 8RX 410 would defeat any Russian armor in the inventory. Hook the tiedown pintles on the tank to the back of the tractor and hit the gas.

and two M134 GAU-17 Vulcan cannons would give it a little offensive kick, just in case. If for nothing else, the 6000 rounds per minute cannons could help with harvesting crops.
