Omicron in Connecticut.

It's around 20 cases per 100000. It's rate of increase obviously is nothing like that in Dec. 2020.

Did anyone notice that Canada had an Omicron ba.1 chart similar to ours: rapid increase and then equally rapid decline, then around 4/7 they got a real rapid spike again which now may have peaked. No one can say why though I'm sure many will try.

number, and the doubling is happening slowly. So we went from about 1500 cases (a great number for us) to 3000 to 6000. Still not a bad number for us.

In my anecdotal experience, everyone is getting it (not me yet - knock wood) and getting over it pretty well. I don't know anyone who has been hospitalized lately. Not like that first wave where the sirens went 24/7 and the town set up tent hospitals and auxiliary morgues.
