Or brilliant political strategy.

For the rest of us, if we commit the same crimes, we go the slammer.

He’d just ignore the law.

Law? That doesn’t apply to ME! I don’t have to bother with that shit. Laws are for the little people. Remember Leona Helmsley? Her famous quote (that she wound up eating, in jail) was “only the little people pay taxes.”

He with the gold makes the rules, yes - but only if they also have God's unlisted number.

You need money and connections to get away with high crimes. And Cheeto seems to have both (some say his 'connections' are the Rothschilds, no less - but who really knows).

Had to serve actual time - for tax evasion.

I forgot it wasn’t prison but home confinement.

Leona Roberts Helmsley (July 4, 1920 – August 20, 2007) was an American businesswoman. Her flamboyant personality and reputation for tyrannical behavior earned her the nickname Queen of Mean.[9] After allegations of non-payment were made by contractors hired to improve Helmsley's Connecticut home, she was investigated and convicted of federal income tax evasion and other crimes in 1989. Although having initially received a sentence of sixteen years, she was required to serve only nineteen months in prison and two months under house arrest. During the trial, a former housekeeper testified that she had heard Helmsley say: "We don't pay taxes; only the little people pay taxes", a quote which was identified with her for the rest of her life.

I remember that Kushner was refused at least twice. The President is allowed to force certain security clearances, but it was definitely against the will of the security services. They knew Kushner was dirty enough to be extorted/bribed/etc. by an adversary and wouldn't approve a clearance themselves. Plus he concealed information (lied).

If there were any type of real investigation by the DOJ of Kushner or Ivanka, DT Sr, DT Jr, Eric…any of the family we would have heard about it.

Or worse from Ukraine.

I don't know how the MSM can live with itself. Where Hunter's laptop contents (about what I still don't know) are elevated to more of a sinister plot than Trump's son in law who was given power and position coming back with $2B?
