(40,828 posts)Also seems to be doing some media work. On Joy's show they had Malcom and Ali doing an interview when the three cruise missles hit Liev. So he was there earlier. If you see her show that part is also shown.

(1,505 posts)On Stephanie Miller's radio show, weeks ago, he was talking from an "undisclosed location." As soon as I heard that, I KNEW where he was. He has also been advocating for a "lend lease" arrangement for Ukraine, much like FDR employed during WWII.
Senior Chief -- PLEASE STAY SAFE. This old Sailor just can't . . . .

(31,772 posts)but as a 61 year old former Navy cryptologist and military intelligence officer... he would be an asset to be be killed or captured by the Russians.
could just be my guilt at not joining the fight.

(31,620 posts)he refutes your claim. He says that Russia is shooting anyone and everyone.

(349 posts)His words arent just to be understood as inflammatory or to build support in Russia. He isnt even entertaining the thought of civilian casualties as the body count he is interested in is singular, Ukrainians.

(78,860 posts)I'm an old man. In the many years I've been alive, I've noticed that most wars are started by old men. They send dumb kids to fight. What would a youth in America, for example, have to fight for? A CD collection? A smart phone? No, let old men do the fighting.

(31,620 posts)Nance went on to say, "I am speaking directly to president Biden, please send long range artillery", and he named the exact type of artillery needed. He said Ukraine needs long range artillery to counter the long range Russian artillery that is killing innocent civilians.
I saw that we are sending the artillery that shoots the 155's, the same shell we shot in Vietnam. Hopefully these artillery pieces are newer models.

(31,620 posts)and she always has Malcolm on her broadcast. Before the war started, Malcolm was urging the US to send Javelins, he emphasized Javelins and Stingers. Malcolm has been one step ahead of the game all along. Whatever type of long range artillery Malcolm is asking for, we should send it. He also pushes for drones, the kind that shoots Hellfire missiles.

(9,303 posts)What strikes me is that it isn't that long since he lost his wife (and pretty much went straight back to work while devastated.) I suspect this work is giving him (back?) a strong sense of purpose. Not to be too melodramatic, but something tol ive for. which is worth dying for.
You may still think of that as losing his mind. I don't. I see it as recovering his self.
