Mayor Q as he's known there is generally well liked.

I do happen to know him personally, as my two sons attended the same private school he did. And no, Mayor Q is not a child of affluence. He attended that school on a scholarship, and his family was sometimes homeless.

When he won his election, I sent him an email congratulating him, and to my surprise he responded, and clearly remembered who I am, meaning he recalled my two sons. How nice.
