On Ari's show right now
Breaking News out of the "Obama" administration - He was talking about the DOJ going to fight the mask mandate decision. He got it right the second time but I had to play it back, wondering if I heard him correctly. I did.

2. Of course they are; they have to. The point isn't masks; it's the power of the CDC
to deal with health emergencies. The mask mandate was going to expire in a couple of weeks anyhow, but what this unqualified Trump hack judge tried to do, in keeping with the right-wing's desire to drown the government in a bathtub, is strip the CDC, and by implication other federal agencies, of its power to do pretty much anything. So whether or not this mask mandate expires in May, the important thing is to establish that the CDC has the power to do it again if necessary to contain this or a future pandemic.
