(182,861 posts)She did a lot of outreach to localities. She spoke directly to state and county health people and could cut through the BS Trump was spreading.

Uh, speaking out on national media would multiply the outreach exponentially. Like Pony Express vs (X - internet, tv, telegraph ... ).

(3,358 posts)If she really wanted to get the factual information out there, she had one of the best venues (and numerous opportunities) in the world to do so.
But I guess she's learned on the hallmarks of ugly American politics: it's more profitable to ask for forgiveness afterwards than to ask permission beforehand.
