on January 6, while the capital was under siege, capital staffers were barricaded in their offices, terrified, reaching out to loved ones, certain they were about to die...and now these same staffers are more than willing to spill to the J6 committee...committee spokespeople have said as much...

They had a terrifying, life-threatening experience and they have to watch their senator or congressman/woman doing what is politically advantageous so they can get elected again. I think for many employees that would be the final straw.

In an attempt to neutralize the more damaging information that is to come out later.

It is possible that this was put out by Republican leaders, in my opinion.

Not necessarily one of Cheney's, however. From what I have been hearing and reading a whole lot of Congressional staffers from a whole lot of GOPer Congresspeople were present on that day, and were traumatized by it. Many of them are pissed off, in general, as well as by the way their bosses are running away from all of it.

But who would have a physical copy of the tape? I doubt everyone who was in that meeting holds their own copy.
