I was foolish enough to flip to Headline News, and her grace is interviewing a doctor from one of the hospitals. She says to him, "You know, with all these power outages going on, what happens to the hospitals? I mean, don't the emergency rooms need to treat people?"

2. Hospitals have backup systems like huge natural gas generators

for electricity. Many have secondary backups that run on fuel oil as well.

Heard 1 report of a hospital (maybe Bellevue) with no power and no way to start the flooded generators.
