Here's the current issue with the OH-SEN race...

Democrat Tim Ryan has 243,000 votes. The Democratic aggregate is 346,000

Republican JD Vance has 243,000 votes. The Republican aggregate is 741,951

This is going to be a challenge to win.

...to a primary on the Democratic side that was largely determined long before voting began. I would expect there to be a higher turnout for Republicans.

it absolutely is going to be a challenge to win - but these numbers don't mean anything. Tim Ryan was basically running unopposed.

...Doesn't mean I don't pay attention to the challenges ahead.

In order of winnability, I'd rank
1. Pennsylvania
2. Wisconsin
3. North Carolina
4. Ohio
5. Florida

versus those of democratic voters ? It maybe that since their primary was hotly contested a lot of Republicans went to vote compared to the democratic side where Ryan was a shoe in.

9. But do consider that Tim Ryan's race was not close and turnout was lower because of this.
