I got an e-mail from Whole Women's Health Clinic. They are offering telehealth, as well as actual abortion clinics. First and second trimester, as the law of the state permits. They have 4 clinics in Texas: McKinney, McAllen Fort Worth and Austin. They have a clinic in Minnesota, 2 clinics in Virginia, a clinic in Indiana, a clinic in Maryland.

Please get the word out to people who need assistance. Share with women you know, who can share with women THEY know, who can reach women in need. I have a t-shirt that says "Somebody You Love Has Had an Abortion". You may not know who, you may not know why, but if you pass it on, share on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, e-mail. Let the information go as far as you can send it.
I also want to make sure that everyone knows about National Network of Abortion Funds -
http://www.abortionfunds.org
an organization that helps women get abortions, by telehealth and Pill or at clinics. With financial aid and physical assistance.
NNAF also takes donations, and they need volunteers to help with driving, escorting, and housing women in need in states where abortion will be legal. Those 16 states are: California, Colorado*, Connecticut, Delaware, DC*, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey*, New York, Oregon*, Rhode Island, Vermont*, Washington. States with stars (*) have no matter what laws. States without stars say until viability, i.e. the fetus could live on its own.
Any woman of child-bearing age may find herself needing an abortion. You never know. So please pass this on, so that pre-menopausal women/girls of every age have an organization to turn to in a pregnancy crisis.

(6,150 posts)I live in a Blue, pro-choice state. I hope I don't have to worry.
But I would not be surprised if there were pro-life hackers who plan to go after people (not just women) who are pro-abortion, to harrass them or worse.
I worry about this country. Nearly 60% of Americans support Roe v. Wade. What's happening makes no sense.

(36,146 posts)What's happening over Roe is religious, so of course it makes no sense.
Justice Sotomayor -- "How is your view anything but a religious view?"

(61,700 posts)stand the line at clinics, but that was before cell phones. Still, I didn't want my license plate copied or my car vandalized. I tended to park away, and I made sure I wasn't followed. I wore bland clothing, wore my hair up and messy, wore sunglasses, and usually an overshirt in another color or a jacket I could reverse.
