Can Russian regime change come soon enough

to save countless Ukrainian lives and also to spare Alexey Navalny, who somehow has survived this long, but his situation may soon get a whole lot worse...

I don’t see Putin leaving his dictatorship anytime soon. When he’s too old and doddery to project a “strongman” image, he’ll install his own carefully vetted replacement.

I have dreams of the Kremlin laying in ruin, reduced to rubble and ash.

Brezhnev's mess in the Afgan conflict The KGB said the territory could be taken in "weeks". In August 1991 there was a plot to overturn Gorbachev but it was thwarted.
Actions after that broke up the USSR as we knew it... YMMV
And so it goes....
