The GOP's war against women will fail,

Just like the war on drugs has. The court shouldn't dictate personal morals or ethics on women , or anyone else , when they have none. Abortions will not be stopped, and history shows they will be increased, and much more unsafe.

But I think with abortion pills (unregulated), they will be mass produced and sold by organized criminals flooding the market , and lowering the medical procedure's for it, but still dangerous. They didn't have these abortion pills when abortions were illegal years ago.

Only until they are a minority will this stop and I don't mean just a minority, it needs to be a LARGE minority since they have religious backing and "their" women are still "cowed" for one reason or the other. Men, you either fight with us now and make it known or you become those we wish to see and hear less of. Somehow I do not think you will like that treatment any more than we do.

If there isn’t a completely gerrymandered, stolen House, Senate and White House with the GOP in power come the end of January 2025, then there is still a fighting chance.

If they control it all, game over. Our future election results will be as legit as Russian elections.

Medical conditions, I think there should be exceptions to forcing the pregnancy if the woman has pre-existing conditions like High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Smokes, has had a stroke or drinks. What if she currently has cancer, and/or is going thru medical treatments that will kill a fetus or cause permanent harm, or even cause a miscarriage????????

And if a perfectly healthy women who is forced to give birth, then has a stroke, or develops diabetes or high blood pressure subsequently, then the state needs to cover her care and meds, etc in perpetuity. And since some strokes are permanent, and cause loss of income, then she needs unemployment coverage, again, in perpetuity.

We need to follow these scenarios to their logical conclusion and see how we can force the legislature’s hands.

I am so mad I can’t even speak.

I was told not to have children, it was unsafe due to a very rare vascular condition. I managed to have 2 with a ton of difficulty but technically died on the table giving birth to my daughter. I was told to get my tubes tied as I would 100% never be able to walk again if I had a third child and stood 100% chance of dying if I wasn't right by a hospital, and 75% chance of dying even if I was. Now I was in CA at the time, so think I would have been safe. But what if I had been in TX after Roe was gutted? Would a dr. there have cared or just wanted me to have another white baby even though it would kill me? I'm thinking it would be the latter.

Although they believe life is precious, they also want to help their female patients decide what is best for them. Including an abortion if that is the woman’s desire.

No, I don’t think a doctor would want to force you to have another baby. But, the law will make the decision for them since they don’t want to be convicted of murder if those are the consequences of providing an abortion to a pregnant woman.

Very sorry to hear of your condition and how difficult childbirth was for you. I believe now that GYN’s should not deny a woman of ANY age who asks to have their tubes tied or more definitive surgery like a hysterectomy. I was told no when I was in my 30’s when I knew I had no desire to have kids. That was in the 80’s and men thought they knew best and wouldn’t consider a woman might be able to make up her own mind. I’m 68 and did not have kids which was my choice. But, a procedure could have saved me from YEARS of birth control pills, diaphragms and horrible menstrual periods. B@stards.

And tons of unwanted babies will be born to abject poverty and a life of being ground into the dust.
