We are going backwards as a nation. My wife and I are in our early 60s. We were lamenting today that the Republicans and religious wack jobs have managed to turn the clock back 50 years. What the hell happened? How did it come to this? I am so disheartened on where we’re going as a country.

We supposedly have “the best healthcare/hospitals in the world” but what good is it when health care inequality is so egregious? What good is modern medicine when it’s unaccessible or unaffordable?

Republicans have ruined everything good and positive about this country. They embrace hate, racism, misogyny, inequality, and gun culture.
