George Perez, beloved superhero comic book artist, dies at 67

Some tremendous art on Wolfman's Teen Titans run. Also Crisis. 67 is way too young to die. RIP to his family and friends.

Thank you for the exciting and beautiful art. You made Wolfman's story come alive. Made my college years a blast.

9. Several years ago, when Len Wein died

Forest Lawn did NOT have a single place to put a car, so many people attended his funeral.

My wife and I got to explain to Larry Niven what a big deal Len was. Niven just thought he was a nice guy who threw good parties.

omitted whenever I try using those characters.

once I post, it's gone. I didn't think it was a browser issue. Since I'm able to do it on YouTube comments and other platforms...... aaaanyway. Off topic. We lost him too soon.

I still remember my college friend handing me a copy of New Teen Titans #1. I had read some Titans as a kid, but I mostly was into the Legion. Didn't know what to expect, but gobbled it up along with Moore's Swamp Thing and the new X-Men (which I had been reading since Giant Size #1).

8. Wow having some 80s as kid flashbacks. I loved The X-Men. It was so good that I would catch my

older siblings, who thought comics were lame, reading them. For some reason I dabbled with DC but Marvel was king, for me.

7. I met him and knew him for quite a while before learning who he was

It was through something that had nothing to do with comic books. Our partners were both involved in a dance group together and he and I were both there with them. He was a really nice guy. I used to talk with him at those events for ages before realizing who he was.

His run on wonder woman was great.
