Philippines election sends warning about authoritarian nostalgia

Excellent article how many forget the past and are manipulated by social media. This line from the article is the most compelling and troubling and a stark warning to us and the rest of the world:

"democracy means little if it doesn’t bring meaningful change to their everyday lives."
