(32,609 posts)another referral to DOJ to do its job. Katie Porter feels that crimes were committed but will DOJ come to the same conclusion?
Prosecuting former officials of the Republican party would be partisan and so far DOJ has stayed away from doing that.

(18,095 posts)at her rallies and there were fist fights. Not a good political move in her district to endorse a brogressive. Porter is very well funded and very formidable, so she should be okay in her very conservative district. There are parts of her district with diversity, but that part of Orange County is wealthy-ish conservative, so it was a politically abrasive thing to do for that area. Nina is not politically viable almost anywhere.
