The field was ripe for a third person to come in and seize the "anyone but those two" vote. Mix in her surge is coming at an opportune moment. There isn't enough time between now and Tuesday to do any deep dives into what I expect to be a fairly problematic history.

If her surge had been a month ago, she might have already come and gone.

Now, there is a realistic chance it will be her. I think Fetterman would wipe the floor with her or Oz, so I'm not too concerned.
