I'm trying to put myself in a Black man's shoes, and asking myself, will carrying a gun make me and my family safer, or put us in even more danger?
This first thought that comes to mind is the tragic fate of Philandro Castile here in Minnesota, who was shot when he carefully explained to an officer that he had a permit for his concealed weapon.
