Let's Get It Over With, Give 'Em What They Want, Make It MANDATORY To Carry A Firearm At All Times

I continue to see the arguments from the ASSHOLES on the right, who laugh when these mass shootings take place in states with "stricter" gun laws. Forgetting the fact that these laws are relatively meaningless, in a wide open America, where it's almost as easy to acquire a firearm in 80% of the country, as it is to buy a loaf of bread.

Their argument usually comes in tandem with the insistence that we'll all be so much safer if EVERYBODY was armed. MORE GUNS is the solution.

So let's just do it. YOU GET A GUN! YOU GET A GUN!! YOU GET A GUN!!!

EVERYBODY GETS A FUCKING GUN!!!!!

Then let's see whether the amount of daily gun deaths goes down or up.

I will say this. It's going to make me a lot less likely to get into even an argument with someone about so much as the weather, if I know they could pull out a gun and shoot me if things go south.

1. That is in line with the gun fetishists saying: An armed society is a polite society."

Personally, I think an armed society, means drunks, and other assorted addicts, as well as entitled a holes everywhere started looking for fights.

Frankly, I think the gun fetishists live in some delusional world of a 50s Western. They think that you can tell the bad guys from the good guys. They think you can shoot the guns from the bad guys hands or kill them for that matter without any collateral damage. They think they will rise to the occasion and take on the bad guys, being a manly hero, when most of them don't have a clue how they would react. Somehow, I think they have this vision of a utopia of the wild west, but then I don't think these people are all there in the first place.

If you could run this social experiment and only the gun fetishists would suffer, then lets have a go at it. Just not going to happen though. Innocent people, more of them are going to suffer.

You may not be far off. Having everyone armed might just bring us around to the sick dueling/honor culture that the US experienced in the past.

Can you imagine Ted Cruz calling out the Pig for insulting his wife?

5. Innocent People Already Are Suffering On A Regular Basis

There's really no other way to shut up the Assholes who think that this is the solution.

In reality, even proving them wrong would not work. They would come up with some BS reason why deaths were going up, if EVERYBODY was packing 24/7.

12. I always thought that means an armed society is an isolated society.

Who will want to work with or help anyone else they don't know personally if they assume everyone is carrying. You can't trust anyone you don't know isn't a fool that will kill you either by accident or fit of pique just walking by you.
It will be a fearful, distrusting society that can't progress, much less thrive as people collapse themselves into smaller and smaller communities of trust.

14. Well, that kind of assumes the gun fetishists have thought through what this utopia would be like.

They don't know how it would shake out. It is a fantasy, as I wrote, some kind of weird 50s Western. Macho, rugged individual, blah, blah, bullshit. These whackjobs are thinking in utopian mode. Think the world would be just fine if only everyone bought into their bullshit. The good old days, a myth that never happened.

You're not living free, as you are really in a chronic state of concern or fear of being harmed.

No restrictions or training needed. There could be mall kiosks where you could sit on old Santa's lap with an M4 or whatever while talking about the Prince of Peace.

The ladies seeking to kill their "Unborn" with an abortion could be taken out as they enter the clinics or board the plane to a state where it's still legal. Two for one.
