This is NOT to minimize the existence of race and gender bias, but when it comes to MASS shootings, most seem to be random, i.e. "whoever's around".

None of the Black people shown above killed anyone yet they were killed by police; the white folks shown above killed multiple people yet were "captured" by police.

11. Denying racism in the US is like the Germans denying that their Holocaust happened.

The Germans (at least most of them) accepted that horrible atrocities were committed in their country. They taught their children about these atrocities and that such things must never happen again. They built museums to show how these atrocities came about, how their leaders gained power through propaganda meant to gradually lead the people into hatred of the other, violence, fear, and victimization—all the tactics the white nationalists, the Republican Party, and Fox have been cultivating for decades. The result is what we see today.

Instead of acknowledging that our Founders made an enormous mistake in not rejecting slavery and that our forbears committed atrocities on black people, the religious right and white supremacists glorified the Civil War as a fight to preserve their right to use humans for profit and created monuments to honor the leaders instead of teaching that they were evil and that it was immoral to enslave people. And thus we pay the price today with a significant population who think there was nothing wrong with slavery, who want the US to be strictly for white people, and who are willing to murder because of skin color.

These atrocities still being perpetrated by a group of citizens who willingly follow the lead of those who, like Hitler, saw nothing wrong with exterminating people who were not of pure white blood. Until we have a reckoning on race in this country, it will just continue to get worse.
