Didn't the shooter choose that location to target POC and defenseless civilians, strictest laws on that side of the Mississippi

He picked the zip code due to % of population that was black. He also stated he choose it due to very strict gun laws with limited mag capacities to limit his chance of people being able to fight back, and fight back effectively.

What are you asserting - he wouldn't have attacked but for NY's "strict" gun laws, because more shoppers would theoretically have been wearing a piece?

The "strict" laws that allowed an 18 year old who'd made threats of a school shooting to buy 3 firearms? Gun laws, even NY's, are stacked on the side of young, male, alienated rampage shooters.

Welcome to DU I guess.

I've seen too much of that shit in real life. It's not Hollywood.

Once the guns come out everything is FUBAR.

I don't trust most cops with guns, let alone random self-selected fools.

Gun fetishes are disgusting.

... proof one is not free, but rather determined by fear.

One gun maybe defense.
The second is "bloody" greed.

If one wants a gunfight, one might go to a crowded gun shop.
